Is price at demand, or supply?
A free market-cycle gauge for the top halal cryptocurrencies. It blends range position, trend stretch, momentum, cycle discount and volume pressure into one score — from 0 (deep demand, where long-term accumulation has historically concentrated) to 100 (deep supply, historically overheated). Built on the same supply-and-demand method we teach. Updates hourly.

Price is in the lower part of its historical range — a demand-leaning area many long-term investors watch for gradual accumulation.

How the index works
Five measurable signals, each answering the same question from a different angle: is price trading where buyers have historically stepped in, or where sellers have? The weighted blend becomes one score from 0 to 100.
Where price sits between its 90-day and 1-year low and high. Near the lows is historical demand territory; near the highs is supply.
How far price has stretched above or below its 200-day moving average. Far below is discounted; far above is overheated.
Daily RSI(14). Deeply oversold momentum usually appears in demand zones, overbought momentum in supply zones.
How far price trades below its all-time high. Deep drawdowns are where long-term accumulation has historically happened.
The share of the last 30 days' volume that traded on up days — a rough read on whether buyers or sellers are in control.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Supply & Demand Index?+
It is a 0–100 gauge of where a coin's price sits within its own history. A low score means price is in a demand zone — the discounted end of its range, where long-term accumulation has historically concentrated. A high score means price is in a supply zone — historically overheated levels where rallies tend to meet selling. It blends five measurable signals: range position, distance from the 200-day average, RSI momentum, drawdown from the all-time high, and volume pressure.
How is this different from the Fear & Greed Index?+
The Fear & Greed Index measures crowd sentiment — social media, surveys, volatility. The Supply & Demand Index ignores sentiment entirely and measures price structure: where price actually sits relative to its own range, trend and momentum. It is the same supply-and-demand lens we teach in our courses, turned into a live number.
Does a low score mean I should buy?+
No. The index is an educational tool, not a signal service and not financial advice. A low score only says price is in territory where long-term accumulation has historically happened — it cannot predict what happens next. Always do your own research and consult a qualified advisor before making any investment decision.
Which coins are included?+
The five largest halal-rated cryptocurrencies by market cap from the ShariaQuant screener. Each coin's Shariah verdict — and the full evidence behind it — is available on its report page.
How often does the index update?+
Hourly. Scores are computed from daily CoinGecko market data covering the last 365 days.
