Changes to plans, research credits and limits are recorded here on the day they take effect. If something you were using changes, this is where it is written down.
A failed research gives your credit back
A research costs one credit, and it is taken before the work starts. Until today, if that run then failed or ran out of time, the credit was spent and you had nothing to show for it.
It now comes back on its own. When a research fails, the credit returns to your account straight away and the message on screen tells you it has.
We also raised the time limit on each stage of a research. The model behind it has become slower and more thorough, and a stage that ran long was being cut short and started again, which made runs feel slow and occasionally lost them outright. That is fixed.
AI research is now on the paid plans
Why this changed →The free monthly research allowance has stopped refreshing. Every Shariah verdict we publish stays free to read in full, with its evidence, and no account is needed for it. What is on the paid plans is running a new research yourself.
Nothing was taken from anyone mid-month, and any credit you had already been given is still yours to spend.
