Is memecoins trading Halal
Assalamu Alaikum. Are memecoins halal to trade in Islam? I trade Solana memecoins on Axiom using spot trading only, with no leverage, futures, or interest. Before buying, I research the coin’s narrative, community, trading volume, and liquidity. I buy the token, hold it, and sell later for a profit. Since memecoins often have little practical utility beyond their community and market demand, is trading them permissible, or does it fall under maysir (gambling) or excessive uncertainty (gharar)? Does a memecoin need practical utility to be halal, or can its community and market value be sufficient? JazakAllahu Khairan.
