Who controls the coins
Read from the token's verified contract on Ethereum (0xa27ec0006e59f245217ff08cd52a7e8b169e62d2) on 2026-09-23: no function in the contract can block, freeze, move or burn a holder's tokens, or pause transfers. It also has mint (held by the contract CoinIssuer (0x02fa…1ca6)); what these allow is checked at screening. It is not upgradeable.
Whether anyone can freeze a holder's balance, or create new coins, is part of our screening. This much is read straight from the blockchain, so it is already established before any screening runs.
