Clearpool

Is Clearpool (CPOOL) halal or haram?

Not screened yet

We have not run our Shariah screening on Clearpool yet, so we are not giving a ruling on this page. What is below is what we have gathered and checked ourselves, without any AI: where the coin lives, its supply, what its own blockchain says about who can freeze or create coins, and the project's own documents.

Screen CPOOL now Runs our full screening and publishes the verdict on this page.

What it is

Clearpool is a decentralized capital markets ecosystem, where institutional borrowers can access unsecured loans directly from the DeFi ecosystem.

What it runs, and where its revenue goes

Per DefiLlama on 2026-09-23, Clearpool runs 2 product lines: Clearpool TPOOL (RWA, $44K in fees over 30 days); Clearpool Lending (Uncollateralized Lending, $8K in fees over 30 days).

Per DefiLlama on 2026-09-23, no revenue reached Clearpool token holders in the last 30 days.

Figures from DefiLlama. Whether any of this income is permissible is part of our screening.

Who controls the coins

Read from the token's verified contract on Ethereum (0x66761fa41377003622aee3c7675fc7b5c1c2fac5) on 2026-09-23: no function in the contract can block, freeze, move or burn a holder's tokens, or pause transfers. The contract has no function that creates tokens, so no new supply can be created. It is not upgradeable.

Whether anyone can freeze a holder's balance, or create new coins, is part of our screening. This much is read straight from the blockchain, so it is already established before any screening runs.
