Is Solv Protocol (SOLV) halal or haram?
Not screened yet
We have not run our Shariah screening on Solv Protocol yet, so we are not giving a ruling on this page. What is below is what we have gathered and checked ourselves, without any AI: where the coin lives, its supply, what its own blockchain says about who can freeze or create coins, and the project's own documents.
What it is
Solv Protocol is the leading Bitcoin staking platform, powered by its innovative Staking Abstraction Layer (SAL).
The basics
- Where it lives
- token on binance-smart-chain (also on ethereum)
- Circulating supply
- 5,525,426,667 SOLV
- Maximum supply
- 9,660,000,000 SOLV
- Category
- BNB Chain Ecosystem, Ethereum Ecosystem, Binance Megadrop
What it runs, and where its revenue goes
Per DefiLlama on 2026-09-23, Solv Protocol runs 7 product lines: SolvBTC (Bridge, $2.4M in fees over 30 days); Solv Basis Trading (Basis Trading); SolvBTC LSTs (Restaked BTC); Solv Strategies (Onchain Capital Allocator); Solv RWA (RWA); Solv Others (Anchor BTC); Solv Vesting (RWA).
Per DefiLlama on 2026-09-23, no revenue reached Solv Protocol token holders in the last 30 days.
Figures from DefiLlama. Whether any of this income is permissible is part of our screening.
Who controls the coins
Read from the token's verified contract on BNB Chain (0xabe8e5cabe24cb36df9540088fd7ce1175b9bc52) on 2026-09-23: no function in the contract can block, freeze, move or burn a holder's tokens, or pause transfers. The contract has no function that creates tokens, so no new supply can be created. It is not upgradeable.
Whether anyone can freeze a holder's balance, or create new coins, is part of our screening. This much is read straight from the blockchain, so it is already established before any screening runs.
