Who controls the coins
Read from the token's verified contract on Ethereum (0xdbb5cf12408a3ac17d668037ce289f9ea75439d7) on 2026-09-23: no function in the contract can block, freeze, move or burn a holder's tokens, or pause transfers. It also has mint (capped, held by an account we could not identify); what these allow is checked at screening. It is not upgradeable. The same coin is deployed on other chains: on Solana (WMTXyYKUMTG3VuZA5beXuHVRLpyTwwaoP7h2i8YpuRH), this token's freeze authority is set to GoFoFfEDgALWRTw5dSY3VZQSwbFpvBEhDv1sFAWzYpbf, so that key can freeze any holder's token account. Whether those are the project's own copies or an unrelated bridge's is checked at screening.
Whether anyone can freeze a holder's balance, or create new coins, is part of our screening. This much is read straight from the blockchain, so it is already established before any screening runs.
