What about a prop firm that says it is Shariah-compliant?
Answered by the ShariaQuant team
Check four things before you pay. The fee should pay for a real evaluation; the rewards should come from the firm's own money, not from failed traders' fees; the payout should be a right the firm cannot refuse once you meet the rules; and the funded account should trade only halal assets you could own outright, with no leverage, CFDs or futures. A swap-free account on its own fixes none of that.
Are prop firms halal? This is Shariah screening and education, not financial advice. Rulings on newer products differ between scholars, so where a question is disputed we say so rather than pick a side for you. If your situation is unusual, ask your own scholar.
