What is market structure?

Answered by the ShariaQuant team

Market structure is the sequence of highs and lows that tells you whether a market is trending up, trending down or going sideways. You read it on the higher timeframe first and then work down, because a buy that looks good on the 15 minute chart often looks reckless on the daily.

Trend and timeframes

This is Shariah screening and education, not financial advice. Rulings on newer products differ between scholars, so where a question is disputed we say so rather than pick a side for you. If your situation is unusual, ask your own scholar.
