Why is Hyperliquid haram if it is a decentralised exchange?
Answered by the ShariaQuant team
HYPE passes the property test and has real gas utility, real staking and real adoption, which is exactly why it is a useful example. It still fails, because the business the token is built on is perpetual futures, and decentralising a prohibited product does not change the product.
Why Hyperliquid is haramThis is Shariah screening and education, not financial advice. Rulings on newer products differ between scholars, so where a question is disputed we say so rather than pick a side for you. If your situation is unusual, ask your own scholar.
