Is dollar cost averaging better than trying to time the market?

Answered by the ShariaQuant team

For most people with a job and a family, yes. Buying a fixed amount on a fixed schedule removes the decision that people get wrong most often, which is when to buy. It also fits the Muslim investor well because it rewards patience over prediction.
